DSL

PEAK can deliver broadband to your home through your existing telephone service or through our wireless network.

DSL

DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) users may view streaming video, listen or download online music or video, play network games, research information, trade stocks or make online purchases all at from five to 30 times the speed of a dial-up connection. Businesses use high-speed Internet for dynamic websites, ecommerce, managing operations, and communicating (VPNing) between work sites. PEAK Internet provides broadband DSL over much of Oregon and can now provide it throughout the pacific NW.

If you use the Pioneer Telephone Exchange a PEAK customer service rep can pre-qualify DSL support by telephone number. Then a Pioneer technician installs the service on premise. That installation costs $129, but it can be waived with an annual contract. You may buy or lease a modem from PEAK, and you receive one bill from PEAK for both the DSL circuit and Internet services.

Establishing broadband DSL over the Qwest DSL network is different. You begin by contacting PEAK. A customer service rep pre-qualifies DSL service by phone number. Once that is established, we provision your DSL service with Qwest. Qwest bills you for a service setup and may provide you a DSL modem. You may also have PEAK provide the modem and an onsite installation. PEAK charges you for the ISP services (i.e. Internet Access, Email, Web hosting) and Qwest charges you for the DSL circuit.

In Century Tel's exchange, a $99 setup fee is charged for adding DSL capacity to an existing phone line. If you sign up for one year, PEAK will waive that fee. A DSL modem/router and line filters can be purchased or leased separately from PEAK. You receive one bill from PEAK for both the circuit and Internet services.

If so, PEAK may have a solution for you. No wires into your home, no fuss, no need for a land telephone line. Our staff will come to your home and install an antenna connected to a modem that will receive signals from our antenna.
